Week 7: From PowerPoint to Podcast 🎙🎧 🤗

This week, we turned James' PowerPoint into a cool podcast. The PowerPoint topics were significant, like how YouTube might replace teachers and how mental health connects to using technology. We all worked in groups, using what we learned in the past weeks to create our podcast videos. Once again, we used a Snowball mic for voice recording. I always get hyped up when I use the Snowball microphone because I can actually hear how I sound when I speak.

We split the PowerPoint into four parts. In my group, each person shared their thoughts on different sections of the PowerPoint. To record our podcast, we used Soundtrap plugged in with the Snowball microphone. It was a cool tool that not only recorded our voices but also allowed us to be creative.

During the editing process with iMovie, we realized that our video was quite boring. So, our team went outside and recorded a video of us introducing the PowerPoint, adding some funny poses. After that, we used iMovie to edit, making our podcast a lot more polished and neat. This whole experience was more than just talking about big ideas. It was about working together, using new skills, and sharing our feelings along the way :)
